April was an exciting time in school, as children learnt about Bristish traditions in the run up to the royal wedding. As we were not at school on the day of the wedding, we chose to celebrate the previous afternoon. Children and staff shared a picnic on the grass, watched film clips of previous royal weddings and played traditional Bristish games. The photo depicts the highlight of the afternoon - whole school country dancing! The afternoon was concluded by classes eating the celebration cakes they had baked and decorated for the event earlier in the week. Congratulations William and Catherine!
