During January we have been celebrating Chinese new year. We welcomed a Chinese workshop that told us the story of the zodiac, enjoyed dancing and dressing up in traditional costume. In classrooms we copied Chinese letters, tried Chinese food using chopsticks and made lanterns.

We also enjoyed Money Week. Each class was given £5 and had to make as much profit as they could during the week. Some classes sold hot chocolate and biscuits, some opened their classrooms at playtime and performed puppet shows or showed films and some spent the week cooking up special treats. We really enjoyed our market on Friday afternoon where each class ran a stall selling their goods.
