November

This month we commemorated Armistice Day on Tuesday 11th November. We had a special assembly where we talked about World War One and also the service men who have served for their country over the last one hundred years. After the whole school took part in a one minute silence one of our Year 2 children read a special poem. Some of our Year 2 have been selling poppies for the past week. This month’s picture is of Mrs Mackenzie with some of the children who have been selling the poppies and our certificate to show how much our school has raised.
