This half term, KS1 children have been learning about Florence Nightingale. To help them gain an even better understanding of Florence and Victorian life, children dressed up and took part in a special Florence Nightingale Day. The handled many Victorian artefacts, took part in an enormous role-play of Scutari Hospital and made various Victorian items such as medals, diaries and clay owls. Children's recount writing about the day has been excellent.
Later this month, a group of our EYFS children will be performing in a Wickford Dance Festival at Bromfords School. We are very proud of them.
