December is always an exciting month, but this year the children enjoyed themselves even more than usual – it snowed! We love playing in the snow together, making snow angels, rolling huge balls to make snowmen and generally having a great time. Our Christmas production, ‘An Empty Stable’, provided a wonderful showcase of children’s talents across the school and was enjoyed by all who came to watch it.
Other events over the Christmas period included a visit from Father Christmas, KS1 classes visiting St Mary’s Church, Christmas lunch, our Christmas bazaar, a group of children visiting to sing and read poems to residents of Silvanna Court and putting on a carol concert for our local neighbours.
We were also delighted this month to receive lots of letters and a DVD of singing and dancing from St Kizito, our link school in Uganda.
